Joe began blowing glass in 2010. Ask him why and he’ll say simply because he wanted to learn. That desire to learn and create is the driving force behind Birch, Please. Even though he’s been on the Hallmark Channel, most people recognize Joe from the local news spots about glass blowing.

The birch in Birch, Please. Louella has never considered herself an artist, but she loves to play with the power tools in the woodshop and is often found helping in the glass studio. Since the inception of the pierogi ornament, Louella has perfected her pierogi pinching skills.

Shop dog? Not so much. Opal is the feistiest member of the Birch, Please family yet is scared of any noise that isn’t the sound of her food opening. Her days mostly consist of napping and eating and napping some more.
